Works like the original, perfect!
Installed easily, works like the factory one! Glad it was still available for purchase after so many years or production for the original machine was built. This reverse switch does take a few minutes to install, removing top piece of machine, clutch wheel and belts. But once it is put into place and retaining screw is tightened, reverse the disassembly process and you are finished. Took less than 5 minutes. It looks like the original and works like the original. It is made of plastic which has a chrome layer over it. I can't find anything bad about it. It seemed to be readily available and was priced right.Installed easily, works like the factory one! I can reverse stitch again!
It was of the same exact quality as the broken piece I found in the machine when replacing it. Will it break again? Maybe, but this is a 1974 model...but if it takes 46 years to break, that is ok with me.

It's a lifesaver being able to use the reverse switch. It's #2. I would hope there was one made of medal instead of plastic.
