    Bosch GLR225 . . . . why didn't I buy this sooner?

    Honestly I had some trepidation about getting an electronic device to replace a tape measure. I feared the complexity more than anything. But I found this to be so intuitive. I love the Pythagorean calculations to measure unreachable heights. These are available with greater distance limits but I've yet to measure any distances over 50 feet . . . not even close to 225 ft. limit.

    Bosch GLR 225

    This is one of my favorite and often used tools. The range is amazing and the features are extensive. I especially like the Pythagorean calculation feature for finding distances around obstructions. I only wish the laser was more powerful so the full range would be usable in daylight.
