I’ve always been curious about MacBooks and if they were any good or not as I was a life long windows user and I certainly didn’t know what I was missing out on, so many features that I wish I’d had in my windows laptop. The MacBook Air itself is so light and sleek, apple really puts great detail in when making them. I love the fake wooden skin on the lid and the laptop was shipped and at my door within only a few days. As stated the trackpad has some problems, but it was really nice of them to include a replacement one for me to install. All around a good buy; and certainly cheaper than buying a brand new MacBook. Like I said as a life long windows user I wish I’d have switched years ago, it’s such great design not only aesthetically but in its many built in software and hardware features ... When the MD628LL/A A1466 was introduced in September 12, 2012, it was a sound MacBook Air. It was sold as an "Education Only" MacBook, which originally only was available for sale to educational institutions in quantities of five or more. When it hit the market the A1466 was very respectable. But that was then. While still useable, it suffers like most older Apple products. Here's the breakdown. The 22-nm "Ivy Bridge" 1.7GHz Intel "Core i5" processor (3317U) only has two "cores", just lacks the power to work well. The 4GB of onboard 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM cannot be upgraded. Just having 8GB would help it out a lot. It also came with a tiny 64 GB SSD. Enough said. Also the "integrated" Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics haven't aged well at all and it shares system memory. On the plus side it is well built, has a "Thunderbolt" port, two USB 3.0 ports, and an SDXC-capable SD card slot, a backlit full-size keyboard, a 13.3" widescreen TFT LED backlit active-matrix "glossy" display with 1440x900 native resolution. Wireless includes 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Spend a little more and get more.

Best purchase I have made in years!
I have had this for a couple weeks now so I feel like I can now leave a good review for it. I am so amazed that this was even used before. Everyone who has seen it thought it was brand new! It is fast and there was only 1 tiny scratch on the front that you can barely even see. I'm so happy I purchased this, absolutely no regrets. If you want a macbook but don't want to spend over a grand for one then do not be afraid to buy a refurbished one from here, it is the same thing and you won't even be able to tell it isn't brand new!I have had this for a couple weeks now so I feel like I can now leave a good review for it. Switch to Apple. You will thank yourself
I used to be the biggest anti apple person and would tell anyone that got Apple products they were making a mistake. Today as I write this review on my new 13 inch MacBook Air, I admit I was very wrong. Even though this computer is from 2012 it is still much better than my 2016 HP Spectre x360. I would now recommend this computer to anyone even if they have a "better" windows laptop. Once you switch to Apple you will never want to switch back. Next up is for me to turn my galaxy s9 in for an iPhone. Good luck on your switch to Apple.
