When I opened the box in my garage under LED shop lights, I was really put off. It was a pukey looking PURPLE, and I was going to return it immediately. But when I brought it into the house it was the beautiful deep red "Wineburst" in the ad. It's my first electric guitar since 1970. So far I love it. Even if I never get great at playing it, I'll look great w/ it in the photos pf the band. Nice finish. Strings are a tiny bit high, but that's an easy fix. Easily worth $80 plus tax.

its a good budget guitar. the whammy bar was black tho... good for starters, im pretty experienced and just needed a guitar to lend out to people when they came over. fretboard is way brighter than the photos show. it looks nice on my wall! pretty good tho

    Best first electric guitar

    My wife wanted an electric guitar. I'm left handed, so mine wasn't an option. This guitar was a great choice. I like the SSH pickup setup, and the neck and frets were setup very well. Good choice, and excellent for the money.

    Okay Starter

    For the money, this guitar is a great starter. The Stratocaster look and feel will keep a beginner interested. The stock tuning machines and strings don't hold tune too well and will need some patience.

    A good guitar for the price 🙂👍

    I had just recently purchased a Rogue rockateer guitar. I wasn't quite shure what to expect. I was pleasantly suprised with the overall feel of the guitar in particularly the guitar neck. The neck action reminded me of elther a ernieball musicman or a ibanez. Outside of a few issues(sharp edges from the frets,buzzing (only when adjusting the guitar volume),the guitar falling out of tune if the whammy bar is used too much, the pick ups feedback a bit much(but to badly) the guitar is very fun to play. With a few modifications, this guitar would make a great studio guitar. I would definately buy another Rogue guitar 😁👍

    Great guitar for the money!

    I am 64 years old had a lot guitars since I was 12. About 2 years ago got the Rouge Rocketeer 100 from MF on sale. After a basic set up and new strings, filed the fret edges (common problem on a lot of guitars now), and put locking tuners ( due to tremolo helps keep it in tune) still my inexpensive guitar after 2 years. Pickups are ok. The humbucker is great. Don’t waste your money on cheap G or F brand guitars. With a little more money and time, The Rouge RR 100 a great guitar at a fraction of the cost!
