This seller is awesome. Excellent product, better than described, excellent packing and quick shipping. Agreed on a combined item shipping price and they refunded what the price came up over. Doesn’t get better than this. Highly recommended. Hope to buy from again.

  • Nikon N80 35mm - Why Spend Quadruple on Digital?

It's as simple as this: shoot a roll of film, drop off the film at the nearest Walgreen's, Wal-Mart or wherever is close that develops film, ask to have negatives developed and a picture CD only (no prints,) and you have digital pictures from a camera that will take BETTER pictures than any digital SLR. The Nikon N80 has all the picture-taking features and functions of a "Pro-sumer" digital SLR, at a fraction of the cost. That's right, you'll have to learn how to use either camera, digital or film, to get the best pictures, but the difference is learning to use the N80 will save you hundreds as compared to buying a comparable digital. Not only that, but prints from 35mm film will print BIGGER and SHARPER than any digital camera selling for thousands of ...

  • Want an F100 but want to keep your arm AND leg? The N80

I bought the Nikon N80 film camera about a month ago and am incredibly impressed. The day before purchasing saw a Friends' F100 and was blown away with the quality and features. However it caries quite a price tag. The N80 is nearly identical to the F100 in features and quality. The biggest differences are the N80 has a plastic body instead of a metal one and a flash sync port on the front of the camera. That's about it. The plastic shell is still very rugged and can take some punishment. I decided to completely invest in a Nikon photo system and purchased a D80 as well. Most lenses and accessories are interchangeable between the two. The N80 looks nearly identical to the D80 and is only slightly smaller. The controls are laid out in the same way making switching between the D80 and N80 ...

  • Nikon N 80: the best of the 35mm entry models

This camera is well thought out.It has features that supersede the pro models that preceded it.It can handle all nikon f mount lenses. The flash metering is first class. The exposure matrix is almost foolproof. It is a film camera not a digital one.Fuji and Kodak digital cameras have been based on it.It is that efficient. It should be experienced for the photographic engineering marvel that it is by anybody that wants to grow as a photographer. And for that it is one of the cheapest thrills going on.Get yours while they last. Bad stuff about it:Viewfinder is not pro class. It is just good enough.Extensive focusing in manual mode may be disappointing and even painful. This camera is at its most comfortable as the autofocuser it is.For that is almost flawless.Batteries (2x123's )are not cheap.Get a ...

  • Nikon N80 film camera

This is a semi-pro camera with loads of features that are very easily accessed. You can go full auto or full manual for the utmost in creativity. I also use a D80, so the cameras share the same lenses, and the functions are similar - I like switching from one to the other, and it's easy when you are really looking for an effect that comes only from years of shooting film. I carry them both when I go out. Half of the fun is waiting to see the slides or prints. A little mystic is good for the soul.

  • The Nikon N80, lenses, getting the bang for your buck

Buying a camera, like buying anything else, is about getting the most bang for your buck. So where does the N80 fit in the scheme of things? That's what we're here to talk about. The N80 is not a professional grade camera. It's very nice for family functions, vacations, general purpose use. It's smaller and lighter than the F100, or F5. It's also much cheaper. There's a reason for that. It's simpler, and lacks the features and functions of it's more pricy cousins. That doesn't mean it's not a great camera. It is. It just isn't the camera I use to shoot professionally. For professional shooting I use my F5, F100, or my Kodak/Nikon DSC. The N80 has a good feature set for the price. The dial allows you to use MSAP settings, which allows you control over the camera with the camera giving you ...
