Item does not work. Item received was not the same item as shown in the picture. Item had no markings of the model number and did not come with any documentation to prove that it is the correct part. Cable ports are a completely different size than the actual DEI 548T which this is supposed to replace. Reached out to seller to resolve and they were very rude towards me and claimed that the item “may not be same as shown in picture”. Would not recommend this seller.

    These subs slam.

    Replaced my P3SD4-10s ($189ea) with pair of Type S 12s and wow! Way louder and clearer. Both sets of subs wired down to 1ohm on a 1200/1 Rockford amp. I actually had to turn the gains down.

    Alpine has the cleanest bass available

    I’m a 15 inch sub guy however this 12 in sub does not disappoint sound quality A1! If you need clean sounding deep bass this subwoofer is for you!! if you must have more power just get type r series. Love alpine so much I got two type r 12 inch subs as well and those two sound better than and just as loud as my 15. you’ve been warned if your in the market for great sound quality this sub is for you!!! if you want horrible sounding overrated on power cheap B.S. that’s loud look elsewhere this sub isn’t for you!!!!
