UPDATE: These are as good as I originally stated except for one MAJOR problem! The plug end, that plugs into the transmitter belt pack is pathetic! This being the second one I have owned and it has failed exactly as the first one did, but it took only three uses before it failed! THESE ARE USELESS IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO LAST! THERE IS NO DURABILITY TO THE SMALL WIRE WHERE IT HOOKS INTO THE 1/8" PLUG. I SUGGEST NEVER BUYING THIS, UNLESS YOU WANT TO REPLACE IT CONSTANTLY! I was skeptical due to the low cost, but all of the specs sounded good. I will start with the great things and mention one or two that I wish were different, but overall this is a GREAT value with very good sound! Initial set up was simple. I was immediately impressed with the quality of sound, and the sensitivity of the mic. I have read reviews that seem to indicate this is not an adjustable mic and headband, but I found no problem in doing so. I have carefully shaped the over the ear pieces to better accommodate the fit, as well as positioned the mic so that it sets right in the corner of my mouth opening by sliding the wires of the headset. Getting a good EQ setting was not difficult and the sound was very good once adjusted. Unlike the factory mic this replaced there is NO "huffing" sounds picked up by my breath on this TINY microphone! I had trouble with the other one all the time, but this one is flawless! The vocals are clear, crisp, and very good especially at this price point. As far as my few dislikes, here they are; 1) The microphone sponges have such a tiny hole I found it virtually impossible to get it on the mic. I finally cut a small slit in the opening end and got it on, but it slipped off during the performance and I had no time to replace it. If someone knows how to make this easier, please advise me. Thanks! 2) The 3.5 rmm plug has threading, but no way to secure it to my belt pack. I am concerned it will come out at an inopportune time, but it did not in its first test run today. The wire the plug end is attached to is not re-enforced well and was the cause of failure of the last mic. I wonder how long this will last? I may try to re-enforce it myself to extend its durability, but do not understand why the manufacturer does not raise the cost a bit and add some solidarity so as to prevent failure. With that being said, if it fails I will try to find another and will probably have to buy two or three in case of premature failures. I would recommend this to a person who will use it for computer, or similar non-stressful uses, and would say to others to give it a try for it is really a good value, and depending on how long it lasts could prove to be VERY good to own. Good job on design, light-weight, and seeming quality so far, to the manufacturer. Get one, and try it for your needs, but be sure it runs on a powered connection, such as a wireless mic belt pack, or it will not work. Sounds good enough for people to compliment on the sound of the music and preaching today! GET ONE QUICK, FOR GOOD THINGS TOO OFTEN DISAPPEAR FROM PRODUCTION.

I teach couples (lead/follow) dancing to adults, once a week, in a 2.5 hr class. We average about 25 dancers, and with a group that size (and a room that large), I need to boost my voice volume significantly. I connect this terrific little head-worn mic to my waistband amp/speaker (which came with its own, lesser-quality mic), and it works great. The sound quality is noticeably better than the mic included with the amp/speaker. This mic is also lighter, better looking (less noticeable), and stays in place much better. I've been warned by other dance instructors (who also use these) that, because we move so much, the super thin connector wire will eventually break internally, so I'd better keep a spare mic on hand. I needed a head-worn microphone for use in our church. Feedback was a major issue with other mics in use. We also needed something that the younger participants could use when they are involved in church services. This microphone fits well and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or observer. It is very comfortable (not even there) and almost invisible. It is easily adjustable to fit different heads and faces - good thing since we are all different. The sound quality so far is very good and feedback is significantly reduced and controllable. We have used it so far for spoken voice. It has not been checked out for singing. If/when we do, I will try to update this. This is not a negative comment, but advice: This microphone is delicate. It probably won't not last long if used in an ...
