Item was fairly priced and was received timely but the packaging was inadequate and there was minor damage to the battery's locking tabs during shipment. Seller was receptive to feedback about the packaging.

Good value for older Cinema Display.

For an older model Apple display it has an excellent screen, and the various ports on the back are a real bonus. I have a set of Apple Pro Speakers that require Firewire and this monitor provided that. (I wanted to use these speakers because they, as I told my wife, just look so cool!) Assuming that I get some time out of this purchase, it was well worth what I paid.

Thunderbolt Display has no response after plugged into MacBook Pro. Does not work.

The monitor remains in black screen even after I plug it into my MacBook Pro. It has power coming out from the MagSafe cable, and the peripheral USBs can connect to magic mice and keyboards. It seems either the thunderbolt 2 cable or something within the monitor is broken. I have already tried all the steps recommended by the Apple website and forums. The monitor came with terrible packaging (seen attached photo). The box was a lot bigger than the monitor, so it can wiggle a lot; the plastic foam wrapped around it is literally in pieces and serves no function to reduce damage. I could see marks left after the monitor was hit here and there, potentially during the shipping.

  • Perfect Companion for the Mac Mini

Crisp, sharp display with beautiful color rendition. This pairs perfectly with my Mac Mini. The sound is about as good as you could expect, but I use mine with bluetooth external speakers. You are going to want to use it in a room with no direct light behind it because the screen is very reflective. You can buy these on-line used for under $300.00 which is a terrific buy. Mine looked like it just came out of the box new. The nice thing about the Thunderbolt Monitor is that I can plug my MacBook Air in if I want to do some detailed work on it with a larger display and the direct network connection is much faster than WiFi on the internet.

  • AWESOME APPLE 27 DISPLAY MONITOR

Took it out of the box when it arrived and looks practically brand new. It had a very small scuff on back which you can’t really see it. Watched a YouTube video on connecting to my MacBook Pro 2020 model. I just needed to get an adapter and it connected with no problem. Looks and performs fantastic with no problem. I am very happy with this monitor, especially saving 5,000 dollars not having to buy a new model from Apple.

  • Loved the monitor...but very difficult to pair with USB-C devices

Not compatible with the recent Mac Air, which has a USB-C port. I finally figured out how to pair them, even though Apple Support didn't know how. Apple has a way of making their latest and greatest products incompatible with the older models. Aside from that, I love the monitor, especially with the glass screen, which is impossible to find on any monitor on the market...everything has a matte/non-glare screen.
