    Great value - works as promised

    Not much to say here other than the fact that what I needed specifically was a hard wired power cord for my Nuvi 1450 and this works perfectly. I used it for my motorcycle by soldering some bullet connectors to the tinned wire ends. The little inline box thingie is plenty small, so hiding the entire wire with zip ties along the existing wiring on my bike was a cinch. As stated, it doesn't work for traffic, but considering the bargain price as compared to traffic-capable power cords (especially from regular retailers - yikes!), that's a small trade off to me.

    Terrible Wiring Device

    This "Chinese Made" wiring device is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! The flimsy wire is only 22 gauge and Battery Tender splice was a "Healthy" 16 gauge wire. I wired a Garmin GPS and after 6 hours I totally lost power! I returned to my Garmin Cigarette Lighter cord and the GPS immediately powered up! I worked dlligently with wire connectors and the flimsy Chinese junk 22 gauge wire could not conduct enough electricity! The harness has a glass inline fuse that was only used years ago. All automotive fuses are now blade type. I made a big mistake buying this. To return the item is not even worth the wasted postage. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS ITEM!! PLEASE PUBLISH THIS REVIEW TO STOP OTHER BUYERS FROM USING THIS PRODUCT!!

    Small and Compact

    I installed this under the seat pan of my 2007 Harley Davidson FXDL Low Rider. It fit beautifully even with an after market engine fuel management module already in the same location. I was able to feed the wire under the tank and out to the front of the bike with the rest of the cables. Looks like a factory install. I might add I installed a fuse holder before I connected it directly to the battery. Also I am using it to power a Nuvi 255W with no problems so far. Great product! Thanks!

    Perfect solution

    Used to power a Nuvi 1490 on a Ducati Multistrada. Instead of a $800 LM590, I got a $30 1490 here, like new, works perfect, a $12 rock solid mount form Ram mounts and this 12V to 5VDC GPS charger cable. All works perfect. Charger transformer was tiny, had plenty of cord to route to my GPS. Recommend.

    Works OK

    Works OK powering Garmin Nuvi GPS on a motorcycle. Only deficiency noted is that the wires from battery are of too small of size for convenient stripping (I had to cut supplied connector to attach to relay--was difficult to strip such fine wires, but I eventually got it installed OK.)
