Value and Long Life
My rating is based on the price and longevity of the product. I have not eaten any, nor intend to until necessary. We bought it for part of our family's disaster preparedness, and a key selling point was the 25 year shelf life. We have had items in our kit that had to be discarded after 5 years, because we forgot about it and didn't practice FIFO. Slowly we've been converting most over to 25 years, from 4 Patriots and some others. My rating is based on the price and longevity of the product. I have not eaten any, nor intend to until necessary. Survival food in general will keep you alive but truthfully you have to ask yourself do you want to eat carbs all the time?I’m speaking from experience I’ve lived off the grid for 15 years so take it for what it’s worth
