    Three is the magic number

    This particular variant has the 1-2-3 slice selector which is super handy for single toasties or one-slicers. Three really makes sense and the saved space from a four is worth it. In fact it takes up little more room than the two slice unit it replaced. Very stylish, rugged, reliable and most importantly for any toaster - consistent. No gimmicks, just quick even toast. Very usable toasted sandwich holders are a must!

    Looks beautiful - but it doesn’t give me evenly cooked toast. So not a good design.

    This is my second Dualit Classic in 25 years - beautiful to look at. Pro - you now have Eco settings which gives you the ability to toast 1,2 or 3 slices. Con - all slots are the same size. Fine if you want to toast a sandwich but not a single slice. The slice just falls sideways resulting in uneven toasting. Annoying, that’s why I have rated with 3 stars.

    A superb toaster, can toast, keep warm and make toasties. It's English engineering at its best; and elements and switches can easily be replaced, not thrown out when it doesn't work fully.

    Best toaster design ever

    Dualit toasters are famous for their simplicity and ease of repair. But also the operation is more flexible than other toasters, ' and using the easily available cage it will make very good toasted sandwiches in three to four minutes without mess (use thin sliced loaf).
