I bought this for our new to us 2009 Lincoln MKX. The installation went well, but you need a Volt meter with two small wires to figure out which pins supply the 12 volts to your mirror. The pins on the wire supplied with the mount slide into the back of the plug that goes into the back of the mirror. This makes a nice clean installation, with no wires hanging down, and the power to the mirror goes off with the ignition, so the detector is only on when you're driving!I bought this for our new to us 2009 Lincoln MKX.
