Denon makes excellent quality electronics and that's all I purchase.
The receiver arrived in a few days, faster than I expected. The unit works well, but I was little surprised to find a few scratches on the faceplate, but the I could not be happier with the performance of the receiver. The unit is very similar to another Denon I own, so set up was easy. The sound is very clean and does not color the sound trough my JBLs. I have bought other Denon AVR units before and all have performed extremely well. I really do not see the value in spending ridiculous amounts of money for other high end units. There is plenty of "clean" power with the high current amplifiers to run most any speaker system.The receiver arrived in a few days, faster than I expected. Great product at a great price
So far so good. It doesn't have HDMI, but that wasn't a requirement to me and quite frankly doesn't matter. I hook my HDMI to my TV and then run a single optical cord to the receiver, and voila! This was the perfect upgrade for me and being a loyal Yamaha fan, I was hesitant to buy anything but. Now I'm very happy with the Denon and after a few more days of reading up on the settings and options, I'll be set. I've got a great 5.1/7.1 receiver with a 2nd zone option on it; just what I was looking for. I'll have it set to 5.1 in my man cave and a set of speakers in my garage as my 2nd zone.So far so good. Nice unit, a little difficult to setup without HDMIs
I did not realize that there are no HDMI connections. I assumed, and we all know what assuming get's you. The buyer never claimed it had anything but what it has, it was my fault, not theirs.

Wonderful
It is a wonderful product. I have it connected to my projector and cinema system and it is so powerful that I cannot set it higher than 01 and it reaches up to 15. I have it connected to 6 Bose speakers. An excellent sound. I don't need to go to a cinema, I have the cinema in my home.
