Easy to Program, Easy Control for 4 Devices
Even though this is an older model from the discontinued line, it still performs well and is supported online with the myharmony website. The online data-base easily enables relatively easy programing of multiple devices by means of a usb cable connection to your computer and the remote. If you can not find all of your commands or exact model in the data base, you can still manually assign the commands and buttons for any device. Buttons are a bit on the small side so would not be helpful for elderly or poor vision application, but small size enables more buttons overall equating to multiple programable options for each of your controlled devices. The look and feel of the remote is stylish, discrete, and comfortable in hand. Basic black without gaudy colors or wacky shaped buttons of ... Battery compartment is easy to access but not so loose that it accidently opens. 2 double A batteries for power source is a welcome design vs more obscure or excessive quantities of other battery types. Construction feels durable, able to withstand normal drops and accidental falls, but not super padded for pets or toddlers, this is an adult remote with many buttons and options. Wish it could control 1 or 2 more devices, but handles 4 well. Have had this remote for 5 years and still performs flawlessly. Purchased another to upgrade second entertainment space because we have been pleased with units performance. If you have need for a universal remote that will control multiple devices and want to skip the manual "teaching" step of transferring each devices individual commands, this is a great option if you can find it for a reasonable price.

Nice Low Cost Remote.
The software to program this remote was easy to find on Logitech. I set this up so one button turns on both TV and Cable Box. Then selected my Favorite Channels. Done. There at lots more options that could be programmed like closed captioning and TV inputs. Leaving those for another day. Works just fine, all the buttons respond and it looks like new.
