The purchased VIP 722k DVR advertised as tested and working came on time and well packaged. The only problem is that in order for a DVR to activate and be operational, it must have a smart card inserted in order to operate. Dish charges $50 for the card. The seller was very responsive, issued an immediate credit and said I was not required to return the product. I ended up ordering the DVR from Dish at no charge, but will pay the $5 monthly rental fee.
