  • "Blood on the Tracks" take II.

My copy was a bit pricey but worth it to me. I`ve played the CD twice now and really like it. It's an acoustic "type" of version mixed in with a few lyric changes to some of the songs. The recording quality is excellent. To me, this was in the middle of Dylan's best work. His voice was at it's strongest and it's just a great version of Blood on the Tracks. Any Dylan fan would enjoy hearing this CD.

  • More Blood

At the moment this is my favorite Dylan album. The guitar, harp, bass arrangements are spare and perfect for these songs. The lyrical differences in these originals from the later commercial release can be jarring at times. “He was layin in bed... “ to “I was layin in bed...” is exhibit A. Dylan’s guitar playing is outstanding and the jacket-buttons are fun to hear. His guitar work on Buckets of Rain is especially moving. Sure, he may muddy a note or two but his strong right hand powers through the song and the sound is purely visceral. If you love these songs, this album can be a real corkscrew to your heart.

  • BOB DYLAN - MORE BLOOD, MORE TRACKS

The master poet's greatest masterpiece of his entire life! The September 1974 NYC sessions could have sounded even better if they had been recorded on a 1947 vinyl recording booth like the one Neil Young used in Nashville, Tennessee during the making of his "A Letter Home" album back in 2014!
