    Fine Compact Sub, Particularly for Music

    These small DT subs (including the current version of this one, the SuperCube 2000) are optimal under a specific set of circumstances: 1) You need a very small sub that's easy to place and move around, and 2) You do not want or need significant deep bass (below 30Hz) or subsonic (below 20Hz) performance. These small sealed subs offer very tight, musical bass -- and are quite convincing for movies as well, as long as you don't expect miracles. Two of these wired in stereo can turn good bookshelf speakers into the equivalent of large floor-standers, while offering more flexible placement options and putting less demand on the receiver or amplifier.     All's well that ends well

    Item was advertised as refurbished. The first one received was defective upon receipt. It was promptly exchanged without cost to me. The second sub I received seemed OK but a bit questionable, occasionally popped (noise) and a week later completely failed. This time instead of exchanging the subwoofer I received a new amplifier and a promise of a full refund if that didn't work. I was able to install the amp with ease. That seems to have worked well and the sub sounds great. The amp I removed & replaced was corroded and nasty looking, so the sub was obviously not "refurbished," at least as you would reasonably expect. The provider was slower to respondto my emails than I would have liked, but not intolerably so, and what I found more frustrating was that his responses were not thorough, ...

    Very powerful small sub/low bass subwoofer.

    This subwoofer I bought by an accident (did not really want it) to pair it with my Anthony Gallo A'Diva Ti's, Marantz 1601 slimline A/V receiver, for compact, stylish looking yet powerful Home Theater System. Previously owned Bose Acoustimass IV 10 "bass module" is easy blown by this little 650Watts,9" cube. Going down below 20Hz for those rumbling movie effects, WOW!!! When I listen to the music, I"m like in heaven. Off course it is not in the league of $2000 subs, but it delivers powerful and precised bass when needed. I cannot find anything that I dislike about this SuperCube III. Ones you blend it with satellite speakers (I never had big ones) it works like a charm., and it looks very pleasant.

    Best Sub Ever

    I've had many subwoofers, but this one takes it to a whole new level with mind-blowing lows that you can feel in every cell of your body. Totally Awesome!!! Highly Recommended!!!
