The SuperCube 4000 speakers from Definitive Technology deliver an amazing loud bass performance. It combines this impressive capability with innovative features, which have been engineered for maximum performance, convenience and connectivity. With these subwoofers, you get super-powered, ultra-modern looking speakers that deliver amazing low frequencies that will leave you and your audience amazed and delighted. They boast powerful, high definition drivers with ultra-stiff cones and specially formulated surrounds. The long-throw voice coils are pressure-coupled, to ultra-low bass radiators, to deliver the tightest, low-distortion bass ever. These pieces of Def Tech audio equipment are great for a home theater, night club, rock concert or rave type situation when it’s about big sound and bass, but for discerning ears that don’t want distortions. This technology includes CS4000’s peak power handling 1200W and Nominal Power1200W. It has a frequency responses of 16 Hz to 200 Hz and a sensitivity of 92dB. Its impedance is 4ohms. Definitive Technology SC4000 subwoofers have an integrated 56-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and extended bass response. The multiband dynamic range optimizer (M-DRO) divides frequency into ranges, and compresses them at any range that’s overloaded, to prevent distortion and damage while playing your tunes. They are also wireless subwoofers and have a remote and digital readout programming which you can easily to tailor your, or your audiences, listening requirements. You can adjust the sound’s equalizations, phase control and crossover frequencies in seconds. These frequencies are 40Hz to 150kHz and there are phase settings that can be locked at 0-, 90-, 180-, 270-, and 360-degrees. The remote has a performance optimizer remote (included with Subwoofer) and has a volume up or down switch, mute, night mode on and off, a low pass filter, EQ, display and phase, so step back into the party or sit in the sofa in your home theater and control the audio to perfection. The SuperCube4000 has a smart, powerful, environmentally friendly digital tracking amplifier, delivering high-impact, low-distortion bass at all the right moments, while consuming much less energy. There is also an audio inputs are a Stereo Line Level - (2) RCA and 1 Pair (L/R) Analog RCA Because vibration drains acoustical energy and adds to unwanted distortion, Def Tech have designed a special speaker’s cabinet which aids its sonic performance. The SuperCube subwoofer has an enclosure which is inert and resonance-free. It’s also handsome to look at. Def Tech have design a subwoofer with a smooth black gloss lacquer finish that seamlessly blends with any type of decor. The SuperCube 4000 is a compact unit measuring 11.88 inches by 111 inches with a height of 12 inches. It weighs 13 lbs. They have a signal sensitive auto on and off switch and multiband dynamic range optimizer (M-DRO) This SuperCube subwoofer may be compact but what it lacks in size is made up for in booming bass and big sounds. Utilizing two 8-inch passive radiators, the Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000’s speakers are amplified to perfection. The Definitive Technology SuperCube 4000 delivers super powered booming bass with little vibration and distortion in a compact, attractive standalone speaker with wireless and remote, for when you want to blow you audience out of their seats and onto the dance floor.     Very loud bass and great subwooy.

    This is a really good subwoofer. It looks very stylish and sounds terrific. It is far louder than ai thought it would be. Very deep bass only when the bass hits in movies or music, BUT it is LOUD!!! This makes my tv sound system like a night club it’s so loud.

    The Definitive Technology Supercube 4000 is a MARVELOUS Experience!

    To Whom it may Concern: First I will tell you that we bought this product because we LOVE the Definitive Technology Speakers and the Supercube 4000 just seemed to be a natural evolution. We replaced a 2 year old name brand 12" Subwoofer and installed the Supercube 4000. This made a very big difference in the quality of sound in our Media Room. The sound is now much cleaner and the Boominess has all but disappeared. The sound is now clean and quite wonderful and shows up DRAMATICALLY when we watch Blu-ray Movies! I truly like the idea of having a Remote Control that corresponds to the display on the front of the Subwoofer! Every Subwoofer created should have a Remote Control!

    Excellent sound

    Excellent sound in such a small cabinet. Many adjustments to tailor just the correct bass you want. Tucked away in the lower shelf of my equipment rack, it is an invisible kick ass addition. Great value .
