Nice build quality, balanced tight sound GOOD STUFF
Skar 6x8 - Was looking for inexpensive but good speakers for my 1999 Ford F-150 and these kept popping up. Stock speakers were still good but lacked highs and were just OK. These are a very nice step up. Nicely built, solid performance, well balanced, added nice top end and clarity over stock. Not a lot of bass but was not expecting much from a thin mount 6x8. The bass that is there is solid and tight. Mids and top end are nice and balanced, no shouting or drop outs. Zero install issues, fell in place. $40 well spent... Thanks Skar Seriously considering the Skar 8" sub in enclosure now. I think that would make a nice modest system for my daily driver. Love the sound output on these have to admit I was worried. Doing a feature install of all skar audio equipment but with these in place and meeting all my needs I’m looking forward to this build. Clean vocals line hearing all the highs in the music with clarity I’m in love. Now I do wish they came with speaker wire to install and paperwork explaining the specs and measurements but that’s all the negatives I can say about theseLove the sound output on these have to admit I was worried. Nice crisp sound quality by skar audio. Some of the better mid-range speaker that I've owned. And at a reasonable price . I got to order another set of these mid range speaker's for the rear of my ride because I didn't realize that they where so much better than you average wallmart mid-range's such as pioneer .

Good upgrade over stock speakers for sure. Good lows and mids. One of them sounded a little scratchy under bass. But wore its self in after a short time. Great speakers for the money.
