Extremely hard to squeeze out of tube
Hard to squeeze out of tube with or without bead former extension. I contacted permatex by e-mail and was told "that sounds stiffer than normal" and product crimp code was a fresh batch date. No " send in used tube for inspection" or "we will replace it". If you get a batch crimp code of 6AZ2361 get ready for a workout. I've been using permatex products since 1968 and this is the first time I have had a problem.Hard to squeeze out of tube with or without bead former extension. Good RTV sealer, worked great.
It sealed great. It was a challenge to squeeze it from the tube through the small tip. I had to wait 2 days before refilling the transmission due to cold weather. Color is black.
