While I would have liked to have the CD's in full sized jewel cases, I appreciated that they were in cardboard sleeves that were identical to the cardboard sleeves (though of course smaller) that the LP's were released in. The addition of the Live recordings from Philadelphia from 1977 along with the "Official Unofficial First Babys Album" made this collection all that much more worthwhile. As a professional musician, who used to play quite a bit of these guys songs, and a true believer that John Waite is truly one of the very great underestimated and underappreciated vocalists in rock music I have greatly enjoyed revisiting these wonderful recordings. I also found it interesting when they added Ricky Phillips on bass guitar, as I recognized him from the band "Leo Swift" out of Salt Lake City that played the same club circuit that my own band played. It was nice to see someone break out of that circuit and get to a higher level of success!!Read full review

I didn't know John Waite was in a band called the Babys until I heard the song " Every Time I Think Of You" on the radio & now I know where the first verse of "Missing You" came from. He also went on to front the band Bad English with a top 10 hit " When I See You Smile". John Waite became a great performance in pop music becoming a best English artist of the 1980's.
