First, great cast. Louis Hayward, Jean Duprez, Barry Fitzgerald, Walter Huston, Edith Anderson. Second, Agatha Christie. Sometimes referred to as "Ten Little Indians" wherein 10 apparent strangers are mysteriously lured to an island retreat where they are each accused of committing and escaping from a horrible crime. Cut off from the mainland the guests are being murdered one by one. As suspicion mounts the survivors' suspicions of each other grow. The wonderfully eerie soundtrack as well as the fear and distress of those left after each murder builds to a great crescendo. The surprise ending will knock your socks off!First, great cast. Fun and Suspenseful
An enjoyable version of Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None'. Barry Fitzgerald is enjoyable in this story, as well as the rest of the cast. *Spoiler Alert* This version is very true to Agatha Christie's story until the end. Then in classic Hollywood style, they gave it a happier ending. I have always enjoyed this version of the story, nonetheless.

Regardless of how old it is this is a terrific whodunit. I had not seen in many years and decided to buy it to see it again. I have already shown it probably seven or eight times to friends who also agreed it was a terrific movie. If you enjoy a great mystery, trying to figure out who the murderer was, really good acting and a terrific plot, this is the movie for you. I would buy again without question!Regardless of how old it is this is a terrific whodunit. I had not seen in many years and decided to buy it to see it again. I have already shown it probably seven or eight times to friends who also agreed it was a terrific movie. If you enjoy a great mystery, trying to figure out who the murderer was, really good acting and a terrific plot, this is the movie for you. I would buy again without question!
