A great utility knife with tactical look.
The product is well packaged with foam cushioning, for a very brittle blade. The item arrived is not what is shown in the photo. There is no shiny scale and the tip is made blunt. Less chance of accidentally stabbing people or piercing something. It is basically a utility knife for house work and handy work with more groves in the handle for better grip. Pleasing to the hand and great for kitchen work. You can buy much cheaper kitchen knife and ceramic knife for kitchen than this one. It is very light comparing to metallic neck knife, making it a pleasure to EDC. It is reasonably sharp with about 1mm thick blade. Super light and razor sharp!
I got this ceramic knife because I work armed security at a secure facility. Just as I was worried, when the chain is removed the metal detector won't pick it up! As if I needed another thing to worry about! When I wear it, it is so light I don't even feel it pulling on the back of my neck. It is very comfortable and convenient when worn outside my shirt. Rust-proof and maintenance free is a nice bonus. I have heard that these blades will not withstand torsional stress or may shatter if dropped on a hard floor. Lightweight & Sharp
This is a good option for someone that wants a lightweight ceramic bladed neck knife. I am aware of the limitations of a ceramic blade, and I consider this or any ceramic blade to be a one time use blade in a dire situation. No need to spend a fortune when long blade life isn't an issue.
