    Cool movie

Although this movie is based on the bible, some of the content is not entirely biblical or has been twisted a bit. However, from an entertainment perspective it was quite entertaining. Hollywood clearly beefed it up and created more drama and added cool special effects to make it more interesting to a much wider audience. This movie is not dove approved and is therefore not family friendly. Personally I give it a 8/10. :-)

  • FICTIONAL RUBBISH!! A God-hater's dream screenplay. Complete blasphemy!

Only resemblance to the true Biblical account is the fact that a great flood once covered the earth. All the rest is an LSD-induced nightmare fantasy in some sci-fi nerd's wildest dreams: Giant robot-like stone monsters built the Arc? Really? Noah's kids were young boys? [Noah was several hundred years old when he built the Arc. His sons were old, grown men with wives!] All the animals were drugged to sleep for 10 months by some smoking plant? [Strange that the humans didn't sleep, too]. Noah's enemy, the king of the territory broke into the Arc and became a stowaway eating animals to survive while he hid for many months? Noah promised "the creator" (not God) that he would KILL THE BABIES any humans had? You Hollyweird screenplay writers have to seriously ...

  • Dont bother with the religious freaks reviews on here

Hilarious how the ‘Hollywood not getting the bible’ theme is constantly being used as an excuse for these zealots to complain that their precious book is being misrepresented for profit. Christians have been doing that themselves since day one. The movie is not Aronofsky’s best, but it isn’t a bad movie by a longshot. Aronofsky isn’t ‘Hollywood’, he’s an outsider that showcases the darkness of the human psyche. That makes people extremely uncomfortable and that is part of what makes his movies great.

  • Crazy and awesome

Noah is a pretty wild film. This movie highlights the craziness of a god who would kill nearly every living thing on Earth (including men, women, children, and animals) as a reset button on Earth. If you haven’t thought about Noah since you were a kid, go back and read it...it’s not as different as you might think. Great visuals help illustrate a bleak view of humanity. It’s actually a lot of fun!
