My Taylor scale finally died on me and I wanted to replace it with something easy to use and something that didn't take special batteries. I got exactly what I needed in this scale at an excellent price. After installing the batteries, I put the scale on a flat surface and placed a kettlebell weight on it to test - it weighed perfectly with not even the slightest variance. I also stepped on and off a few times to be sure it was consistent and it was the same weight every time. This scale is accurate, easy to use, and looks fantastic. If you're looking for a basic, easy to use scale I recommend this one. Well tried it and I know I weigh around 330, but according to the title it can handle up to 400lbs. I get an error when I place both feet on the scale. I did try getting on the scale with all my weight and one leg on the scale. It showed 335 lbs. I placed my second leg on it and then get an error. I was like no way in hell I would weight above 400lbs. Then I read the manual and it says the max weight capacity is 150kg which is 330 lbs. I just wanted a correct scale because I just need to lose 40 lbs. I already now don't trust this scale....lol Well tried it and I know I weigh around 330, but according to the title it can handle up to 400lbs. I get an error when I place both feet on the scale. Love that this scale is lower than most so I can put it right in front of my linen closet door, which is one of the only level spots in my bathroom, and I don't have to move it out of the way every time I open the door because the door opens right over it. The height also makes it easy for me to get onto and not wobble. Just step on and it comes right on and in seconds, there's your weight. I tried my old trick of weighing myself a few times standing at different positions on the scale but it gives consistent readings no matter where I stand. There's no cheating with this scale. It's very accurate!! Really great scale.
