If you are looking for a Bluetooth enabled set of speakers, these are the ones. They can be hardwired directly to sound system. The set comes with metal mounting brackets, screws and anchors. 16' of speaker wire to connect the active to the passive. Very easy to setup, plug in the main speaker turn on your Bluetooth device and scan, then connect. Great sound and they can handle a lot of power. They are heavier than I expected, good construction and can handle being outside. Bluetooth range depends on what you are transmitting through. I have them on my screened in porch and used my phone to connect; 15' away and a brick wall is the max for my situation. My tablet has a short transmission range, so it is about 5-6 feet.
