    Excellent Value

    For the price this sound system is a perfect solution for those wanting a 5.1 surround sound to enhance the (often lacking) built-in speakers on their HDTV. We use these in our weekly & monthly vacation rentals. Unlike many soundbar systems, this one comes with the rear satellite speakers as well as the bluetooth subwoofer. We definitely recommended you stick with the 42" soundbar or longer as they use better components (sound). Only minor complaint is that it will seem the rear speakers are not on at all when you connect them, as if they are dead or not working. Be sure to play a Blu-ray, DVD or other source with confirmed 5.1 surround sound to test them and watch them suddenly come to life.     Best sound bar for the price

    The main reason to buy a sound bar, besides getting better sound than what built-in speakers produce, is to get CENTER CHANNEL reproduction! Almost every source of content is now delivered in 5.1 sound, even sporting events. Without a center channel, you often can't hear dialog very well, so you turn up the volume, only to be blasted by the music and sound effects. Very few sound bars offer center channel (listed as 3.0, 3.1, or 5.1), so you may get better sound, but it won't solve the low dialog problem. This Visio 5.1 sound bar does exactly that at a very affordable price. This is an excellent product!

    Nice soundbar for those that don't like the music on a show

    I bought this for my dad who hates the overblown music in most shows. He has a nice 55 inch Samsung with ugly sound. He could never hear the people talking when the music swells. I hooked this up and didn't enable the back channel speakers. Cranked the Center Channel and modified the treble and bass. It changed his way of thinking about sound bars. An added bonus is that you can teach the soundbar to respond to your TV's IR remote and not have to use the smallish remote that comes with it.

    Works well once I got it working.

    Great item once I found someone form M.I.T. to set it up. Instructions are very skimpy and don't go into detail. Had a friend who is a computer engineer come over and half an hour later he had it working. Satellite stations: I had to order 25 ft cables from ebay to fit these boxes to go across the room. 8 foot cable is just not enough.

    Great value.

    I purchased a new TV and wanted to have a surround sound that would sound nice in my living room I have a 10 foot ceiling. I did some research and went to the stores and got an idea of what I would need. Well I went to the local Best place Buy and saw their prices. I came home looked my Ebay and saved 40% for the same product. I jumped on it like a wildcat on it prey. It took a week I could see that it said delivery date so I was able to be home that day and it was delivered at noon the day it said it would. I am very happy. I love my ebay. Bigtime.
