    best for kids, with help

    For what it's supposed to be, this toy saber delivers: It's got details in the handle that make it a replica of the saber of Kylo Ren, the telescoping parts snap out and lock into place. However, my 9 year old daughter really has to put some effort into the downward swing to get the "blade" to fully extend and sometimes the side pieces don't come out. My 13 year old son has slightly better success. So expect your children to ask for, and need, help extending and retracting the saber parts.

    Love it, however..

    I got this so I can play with my baby cousin, and it's in great condition as promised. However, when I extended the blade it was a bit curved at the top and it's a tad difficult to extend it. But otherwise, it's great!

    Broken already

    My son had this toy for a week of normal age appropriate play, and it's already broken. The "light" (plastic) part is retractable, and the end piece no longer extends. My son is very disappointed (and so am I).
