Lens works amazing.. Pictures are super crisp. Like most, first time I put in, focus didn’t work but I removed and put is again and then everything goes fine, seems like for first use, it’s electronic needs reset. Cosmetic condition is better all I had to do is a lil clean up of front lens using microfiber cloth’s.. Shipping was slow even if it’s 2 days priority shipping .. Overall best value for money and I love its Bokah .

Good lenses, fast auto focus, good quality of pictures but not excellent. It have great bokes and good colors. Price is good for this lenses but i change hood of this lenses, it not good. I am using hood of Tamron 70-200MM F2.8 VC . I am using on Canon 5D Mark iii and Canon 5Ds and working good, but i think it have small focus disappoint and not as great as have Sigma Art lenses. But price is great. Good lenses, fast auto focus, good quality of pictures but not excellent. It have great bokes and good colors. Does not work with older cameras
I bought this lens with the intention to use it with my EOS Elan 7NE but was disappointed to find out that the software is not compatible with cameras that old despite assurances it would. It also did not work with a friend’s EOS 3. It’s a shame Rokinon only puts the effort in to make it work with newer cameras. Rokinon stated that since they are a 3rd part manufacturer, they cannot ensure their lenses work with every camera. Autofocus isn't always accurate, 60 percent of the time it's out of focus.
If you think that the focus sharpness is obvious at an aperture of F1.8 or above, then you should buy an F/1.8 lens instead of a 1.4. Although the price is ok, the autofocus doesn't work all the time, sometimes you need to take out the lens and put it on the camera again, and then the autofocus starts working.

Very good but with room to improve.
I own a lot of lenses and this one is very good. It has its quirks however (expected for the price). Pros: Sharpness is excellent from f2.0 and up. F1.8 is still sharp and very good. Light transmission and color neutrality are among the best. My viewfinder is brighter with this lens than my other f1.4 lenses. The body is sealed, all metal and light. Focus motor is snappy and quiet; totally unexpected for an 85mm f1.4 lens. Cons: Images are somewhat soft at f1.4 and f1.6. My copy back-focuses from the factory; it works fine with +12 focus compensation (my 14mm variant is perfect out of the box, so I'm guessing it's a production consistency issue). My unit has a tiny speck of dust on the front element (inside the assembly). Focus consistency/accuracy is comparable to my Sigma lenses, but ... I own a lot of lenses and this one is very good. It has its quirks however (expected for the price). Pros: Sharpness is excellent from f2.0 and up. F1.8 is still sharp and very good. Light transmission and color neutrality are among the best. The Chromatic Aberration isn't bad, but the fringing is red (harder to cleanup vs. magenta color fringing). I would consider it an equal of the Sigma EX line, with weather sealing thrown in for free.

Worth the price!
This new Rokinon lens shoots a very sharp image. I didn't expect the weight of the lens will be light. Buying this lens is worth it especially it has an AF and Manual mode. The only I dislike about is that the lens hood doesn't lock when you attach it to the lens. I’m not sure if it's very common to every Rokinon lens. Anyway, I will post some of the sample shots from this lens.
