This system looks very modern and stylish. Set up was extremely simple and everything worked instantly. The sound quality is good, not great. The surround is excellent but the overall sound signature is not remarkable, but it is pretty good. I got it "used" for $165 but it looked brand new to me. For the price I paid it's an incredible value. If I would have paid the retail price of $399 I would have been a little disappointed in the sound. You can control all the speakers and sub individually, as well as the bass and treble. With some tweaking, you can get some pretty decent out of it. Bad remote design
The sound is great, but can't get past the remote. It has a nice crystal display however is not backlit which makes it almost impossible to see in a dimly lit room. This is a minor flaw, but that's why it's so hard to overlook. .. such a simple thing and yet no one from Vizio or other reviews talk about it?? Again, sound is good and that's the main thing.

the remote

Great sound- transforms the movie watching experience. Thundering bass, improved voice, easy set up with a simple to understand quick start manual. Only four stars because there appears to be an issue with the bluetooth: it pairs easily with my iPhone, but if I shut off the music, the pairing is lost. The device (soundbar) still shows on the iPhone, but it will not connect and the device has to be "forgotten" and paired again in order to connect. The right cord for what I needed.
These Vizio Satellite Speaker cords are just what I needed for my Vizio Soundbar. One of my old ones was eaten up by my robbot vacuum and 8 needed a replacement. These are the perfect fit. The sound from the entire system is crisp and room filling. These wires were just as described and are long enough to accommodate the rear speakers being spread wide apart.
