Sturdy Design and Easily Updated
This is the ultimate basic solid state amp from the early 70s. The front end of the topology looks like a vacuum tube power amp done in early bipolar transistors. I purchased this just for the chassis and power supply parts and plan to use modern PCBs and design to update it. The open chassis design (like a vacuum tube amp) makes this easier. It is retro and attractive with chrome body and painted perf metal cage. The chrome on the one I purchased was in good shape.This is the ultimate basic solid state amp from the early 70s. Exactly as described. Removed all parts and discarded except for the circuit boards, transformer, switch and speaker attachment hardware. Discarded all other parts. Chrome case polished and ready for new parts.
