My first radar!
I read reviews in CNET before purchasing. The iRad950 performed well. The radar gave me enough time to quickly slow down. It has saved me 3 times already on I80 from NY to PA. Does go off frequently but I understand that this is not a perfect science. App is cool for visual notice, if music is to loud to hear. Only works when plugged in to power source. Affordable Reliable Small Live feature require a subscription. $$$$ I'm happy with my purchaseI read reviews in CNET before purchasing. The iRad950 performed well. Its an Alright Radar Detector
Goes off all the time for everything lol really easy to use and setup, the actual detector is super quiet so if you love to rock out in the car expect to connect it to your phone so it plays out through your speakers in the car, it dies help a bit, but id save money and just buy an all better one lol

Not ready for prime time.
Update to review. I moved up my rating one star. Cobra continues to improve the software and thing are more stable than before. I still wish the system sent audio alerts through the phone. If that becomes an option, this would be a great system. The 105 Radar Detector seems to detect front radar good (range OK), but not so for rear radar. The issue for me with this unit is the Android software. Often it will not detect the GPS and I have to hard reboot my phone when exiting the software. Because of the hassle I don't pair the unit and use Trapster on the Droid. Another heads up; it does not transfer the audio warnings and alerts to your Android device. I hope Cobra works on the software and gives us something more usable. Great idea, but there are many better detectors. Cost is ... Update to review. I moved up my rating one star. Great product at a very reasonable price for the features that it has.
I bought this product because of past experiences with this brand. It is a great radar detector. Very few false alarms and I clocked it at three miles out at first warning of radar. I also like the fact that we can come together as a community and warn each other of speed traps and other road hazards. The one thing that I would like is to be able to mark constant false alarms, such as, stores and red light cameras that are merely for traffic control and not speed, so that it stops picking them up. I don't know if this would be possible, but it would be a nice feature. Overall though, I'm very happy with this product.I bought this product because of past experiences with this brand. If you travel the highways, this the radar detector to travel with.
This is a very affordable unit that uses the latest technology in combination with your android phone. I used the cobra unit to travel from New York to Florida and from Florida back to New York with no problems. It gives Red light camera alerts and also speed camera alerts, as well as radar band alerts. I would definitely recommend this product. Definitely the best radar detector I've owned.
