Can use in many applications!
My first thought when I put them on was it was very sci fi looking. Lens are very easy to replace and the hinges make it easy to move out of the way to use your eyes without the lens. The lights on each side have separate on/off switches and are totally adjustable. Have used it for electronics, and medical applications (wood slivers). My son says they would make great accessories for Halloween as well. Hahaha. I kinda agree. Would recommend for anyone doing miniatures, dental, medical and electronics as well. Very well made. It IS a loupe so be careful
Well, I guess because of the way it looked I thought I would be able to work on things in the 1 foot range. And I thought you'd be able to use both lenses like a pair of glasses. So in my opinion the design is deceptive. In reality this only really works with 1 lens at a time and ONLY in the 1 inch range for the 25x. Maybe you can get 2 inches with the 10x. So this product is ideal if you need to check something at that super close range. But you can't actually work on anything because you need to hold the object 1 inch from your eyeball. You can't even get your other hand in there at that range. So I'd advise looking into one of those visor headband magnifiers instead. This tool is only when you need to examine something that does not need to be worked on. Like fine print or photos or if ... cant see anything
cnt see anything unless the glasses are pressed against it wich makes the leds useless and basically the glasses.. got better use taking out the optic and using it to scroll across things.. couldn't think of a use id ever have to purchase it again and never would have if I could of tested them out. don't believe the magnification is very great either 2 outta 10 on usefulness the are comfortable though if you just wanna look silly with the lenses popped up so you can see to walk.. these are the glasses for you! made of cheap plastic and glass though so they will break pretty easycnt see anything unless the glasses are pressed against it wich makes the leds useless and basically the glasses.. got better use taking out the optic and using it to scroll across things.. couldn't think of a use id ever have to purchase it again and never would have if I could of tested them out. don't believe the magnification is very great either 2 outta 10 on usefulness the are comfortable though if you just wanna look silly with the lenses popped up so you can see to walk.. these are the glasses for you! made of cheap plastic and glass though so they will break pretty easy

Might as well make it a monocle
The magnification is good and the LED lights are a plus, but even on the lowest magnification you have to get very close to the object in order to be in focus. Once you get so close, you can't use both eyes to see the same thing. I just flip up one lens and use the other lens by itself to view the object. Overall it's very comfortable and of good quality but unfortunately it's not as good as the magnifying hood it was replacing.The magnification is good and the LED lights are a plus, but even on the lowest magnification you have to get very close to the object in order to be in focus. Get a better set or invest in better eyeglasses for what the product does you could do with 3.0 glasses better.
The problem is the focal distance between the eyes which with this product is limited. I have to look only out of one eye and by the time I have a clear view of the object, it's only a half inch to one inch from my eye. I cannot with good conscience recommend this product. By the time I see the object that I am looking at like a screw on an eyeglass, I was unable to actually screw the screw in because it was so close to my eye. I guess it would be ok for scrutinizing small objects like coins or looking at small letters with one eye, but it is very restrictive in its field of view only showing small segments the size of a dime or less.The problem is the focal distance between the eyes which with this product is limited.
