Shaft seal leaks just like the old one !
The Shaft seal leaks. I purchased this assembly because the original Osterizer blade assembly Shaft Seal leaked and appeared warn out.. Although this assembly is new it still leaks nasty gunk between the shaft and brass bearing just like the original.. What I can see on the bottom can be wiped off even though it's a nuisance.. However how much gunk is getting into the food?? Totally unacceptable for food preparation !! The Shaft seal leaks. This is my 2nd one and they work grate I love the convenience of having one ready to go well the others being prepped and vice versa, if you don't have a second or in my case 3rd yet you won't regret having them trust me there perfect for parties or just family and friends at the grill.
