    Rough/sharp finish tabs chewing up the plastic structure on the camera it spins onto

    The machining and manufacturing of the three tabs on the end that spins into the plastic structure on the camera is too rough and sharp therefore cutting into and chewing up the plastic. You can only do that a few time and it will not stay on well anymore. I have yet figured out how to polish them up. All in all, it is not a large enough diameter tube. The picture will have a circular edge once you are not in full zoom. A bigger diameter tube and a large diameter adapter lens may make the set up more flexible.

    67mm adapter

    The instructions on attaching the adapter to the lens are not very clear, but reasonably easy to figure out. It is wider than the lens and gives a clear view without any shadows or lens interference.

    Perfect for adding "standard" filters.

    I bought this for a Fuji X-30. The adapter base fit the Fuji threads very accurately and enabled me to use a 52mm polarizing filter that I already owned. The lens shade is nice and solid but can't be used with the polarizer since it blocks access to allow the filter rotation. For my needs, this was a much better option than the $50 Fuji lens hood.
