Best Zoom ever made!!!!
I am using this lens on a Sony A7RII with a Sigma MC-11 adapter and it is incredible! The lens seems a bit large for the Sony body but it is not heavy and when I pick up the camera it seems very natural. There is nothing like Japanese made craftsmanship, the lens is perfect mechanically, the zoom ring is silky smooth as is the focus ring and from wide open everything is sharp as hell. If I was forced to live with just one lens this would have to be it, it can handle with ease 95% of anyone's focal length needs with prime quality sharpness, what more could anyone want from a zoom. And to put a cherry on top the image stabilization in the lens is the best in lens stabilization I have run into, great for video work. Versitility first with very solid optics
this is not the best lens in the world. you can get better performance out of many other options at any given focal length. However, this is easily most versitile high quality lens i have ever shot with. i took everything from a 16-35L iii to a 100-400 L ii and a bunch of primes in between on a 6 week trip around the world. The mark 1 version of this lens was on the camera almost the entire time because otherwise i was constantly missing shots because i had too long or too short of a lens on the camera at any given point in time. I gave the Mark 1 to my son when he moved out. this left a huge hole in my capabilities so i had to go out and get the Mark 2.this is not the best lens in the world. you can get better performance out of many other options at any given focal length. Heavy but versatile lens.
With a zoom range of 24mm to 105mm, I'm using this lens more than all my others. It's really heavy however. Heavier than I would like in a zoom lens but the image quality is incredible. The Image stabilizer makes it great for shooting video as well. Especially when zoomed in to 105mm. The build quality is also what you would come to expect from a "L" series lens. Top notch!

The nest all-round lens you can have and use. The only lens that most of the work most professional photographers require. It is quick and focuses well. It is light compared to many other lenses of its caliber. easy to handle for the most part.

It’s exactly what I anticipated! An older lens but works great. There is some fuzziness in the pictures but could be user error haha I’ve only had it a couple weeks and am still getting used to it. It was also delivered sooner than expected 🙂
