I don't usually ever drive my show truck after dusk (BUGS) because of 35 yo original paint and 14k original miles, this past week our families favorite show went into the evening onto fireworks, so I knew it was inevitable, I have never put a coating besides carnuba wax on it, every spring I'll do a decontamination wash, do any corrections using compound, da polisher and patience, then a high grade wax then spray detailer to maintain the rest of the year, most times waxing it 2-3 more times. Ceramic coatings (I'm a certified installer for a "name brand") require the use of a primer/sealer before using on a single stage paint (GM 80s) before the coating, otherwise it WILL haze afterwards, my truck is black and I tested this on an area that I could work with if I needed to, doing everything ... Ceramic coatings (I'm a certified installer for a "name brand") require the use of a primer/sealer before using on a single stage paint (GM 80s) before the coating, otherwise it WILL haze afterwards, my truck is black and I tested this on an area that I could work with if I needed to, doing everything as taught by the class it may have provided the protection but the clarity was compromised, I took the steps to remove the product, so after buying 5 different ceramic/graphene sprays to test, I used a 1986 black Camaro hood that has original paint and polished and prepped as I would my truck, ADAMS took the most "work" to apply but by no means was hard, similar to a regular wax, I then put the hood outside for 2 weeks, it got rained on, I'd then use spray detailer to wipe it off ect during the trial so each coating got the same abuse/treatment, divided by a tape line on the hood, after all this, Adams was the only one that loose it's hydrophobic quality or did it have any "spiderweb" marks from the microfiber and spray detailer, nor did it haze or anything else that I wouldn't trust. So after I did the wash, 2 small areas of corrections, wash again to remove any possibility of oils or previous waxes, I worked around the truck twice with Adams, letting it cure 24 hours in-between coats, I did the paint, chrome, stainless and even the rubber windshield gasket. For one, the truck looks wet, the best it's looked in 10-15 years, Two, the couple times I dusted it before my night run and at the show I only sprayed the detailer on the microfiber once and it cleaned the entire truck, nothing sticks to the coated surface, and now the grand finale, driving home at night, in corn country, it was raining BUGS, I didn't coat the glass because I was unsure about doing so yet, so I'm watching my windshield get plastered on the ride home, I pulled in the garage late, couldn't even look at the front end thinking about the next morning of having to clean, and then to my honest SURPRISE, I went out early in the morning and NOT ONE BUG ANYWHERE ON THE TRUCK THAT WAS COATED!!, I brought my wife out, called the neighbor over, I've never seen anything perform like this, I have never taken the time to write a review, guess what? I'm sitting in my chair looking at my truck for once, not cleaning it!! I obviously won't know the longevity of this product for awhile, but I can tell you, it outlasted the others just during my trial, so don't waste any time with the other highly advertised similar products, they are long gone in a couple weeks, I'm showing pics of freshly coated and then untouched from the night drive in the bug storm.. Thank you!! in this day in age to receive a product that actually delivers is satisfaction alone, but saving me as much time as ADAMS has, I can't thank them enough.. I am certainly going to use this product on all my personal vehicles asap so I can test longevity, it will then be in my lineup for topcoats offered to my customers through my dealership. This is a real review, not bs like the other highly advertised ones out there!! Thank you again!!
