Not overly large, wall mountable and does NOT sound an annoying, continuous beep during UPS functions.
So far all good. We are very pleased with the product. We use this as a backup UPS to operate our cellular home phone base during power outages and as a charging center for cell phones, Kindles, etc. It's installed in a wall mounted position, inconspicuous. Since installing it a few weeks ago we have had two power outages. One that lasted for ~ 4 hours. The UPS performed its intended task perfectly and we had telephone service the entire time. I'm very happy that it does not sound a continuous, recurring beep during a power outage. The old UPS that this replaced beeped constantly during power outages. Very annoying. Overall this is working out perfectly. Recommended. So far all good. We are very pleased with the product. The product info says that the runtime will provide 4.5 hours of backup power. When i received my BGE90M I plugged it in and let it charge up for 24 hours. I then unplugged it to see how long it would provide power to my modem, router, and portable phone. It lasted for 2.5 hours. This concerned me but after looking in to this more this was actually longer than what the runtime graph indicated. I didn't know that the runtime was based on the watt load plugged into the BGE90M. The 3 devices I had plugged into the BGE90M was a load of 36.1 watts. According the the runtime graph I should have only gotten about an 1 hr and 20 mins. Only 1 issue otherwise good value..
It only has 1 issue , only normal plugs, if you have a 3 plug, ~ground~ you need to use an adapter for it to fit. Stays cool. Like the 2 usb charge points,, And Now it's getting used ~Hurricane Irma~! Got it for the comp and modem But put it on the main TV keeps it and sat from having to reload every time the power Blinks for a 1 or 10 sec. ~ Just ordered a 2nd one one the tail end of the storm.. It only has 1 issue , only normal plugs, if you have a 3 plug, ~ground~ you need to use an adapter for it to fit. Stays cool. Good UPS for low power electronics
APC BGE90M is good uninterruptible power supply for network (modem, router, etc). This model can supply 10W for 4.5 hours. Normal UPS can't work longer then 1.5 hours even if has 100 times more capacity. Unfortunately APC discontinued this model providing no replacement. Shame on you, APC !
