So far so good.
Just like my other combo. So far so good as far as working well is concerned. Was told to keep my other VCR/DVD machine for parts. Needed a new machine because the DVD player was shot. I pray this machine will last a good long time.

the most i can say about this is that I didn't ask any questions before purchasing. Like, does the remote have certain features - progressive scan+repeat?; what's the picture quality? it DOES play my DVDs which was the main function I wanted. Since I didn't want to spend a lot of $$$ for a machine that's slowly leaving the market I guess I got what I paid for. Was a litte disappointed that it didn't have at least the same features as the one I was replacing...they're probably about the same age. It would have cost me more to get the one i have repaired. We did need help from a friend to hook it up for us, but it does work nicely. There is a little trouble with the remote in that it always stops the video, but it does not always start or play the video.
