    Enjoyable Crazy

unrated version is certainly one you will want to watch over and over, when the crazy antics of these two get together under the same roof and act out you'll probably be reminded of your childhood one way or another except there adults that still live at home with there single parents until the marriage of each others parents make them step brothers, and they test each other through trials of practical crude jokes, and end up becoming friends, great movie.....

  • So funny

Box Office: $100,468,793 I hears this movie was good, And it was! So funny a must see. They make this movie halirious. While nearly all Will Ferrell's films are enjoyable on some level, they tend to fire on all cylinders when Adam McKay is involved. McKay co-wrote and directed ANCHORMAN: THE LEGEND OF RON BURGUNDY and TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY, two of Ferrell's most popular and consummately hilarious films. McKay reteamed with not only Ferrell for STEP BROTHERS, but also Ferrell's co-star in TALLADEGA NIGHTS, John C. Reilly (who has steadily proven himself to be one of Hollywood's most versatile actors); and though STEP BROTHERS may be the most threadbare of the three movies on which the duo have collaborated, it's arguably their best. The ...

  • Hilarious Movie

Just downright funny! If you love Will Ferrell, which I do, you will appreciate this movie. It is full of his odd, non-PC humor. John C. Reilly is hilarious in this movie, too. If you haven't seen the movie, then the basic story line is that a man and a woman meet, fall in love, and decide to get married. The problem is that each of them have a grown-up (physically, anyway) son, living at home with them. The guys don't have jobs and lack maturity and responsibility. They are basically full grown men with the mental and social limitations of 10-year-olds. Once their parents marry and move in together, they are forced to become step-brothers and sibling rivalry ensues. Eventually, the two guys find out each other might not be so bad after all, and they begin to work together on ...

  • Farrell's Best Movie Since Elf

I've been disappointed in most of Will Ferrell's movies, but not all. I absolutely loved Elf, Talladega Nights had its moments but was just alright, and I was really disappointed in Semi-Pro. This is a perfect movie for Will. Step Brothers teams him with John C. Reilly, who worked with him previously in Talladega Nights. Talladega had its ups and downs, but Step Brothers keeps you laughing throughout. Farrell and Reilly are at their adolescent best playing two forty year olds who still live at home with their single parent. When the parents hook up and get married, Farrell and Reilly are then step brothers. They start out as rivals, but as the movie goes along, they end up liking each other. They realize they're just like one another, a Mama's boy and a ...

  • The Most Ridiculous Film I've Seen In 20 Years.

Dale Doback (Reilly) and Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) are more than just deadbeat losers. They sponge off their parents and are way past failure to launch men-children. After a much needed change in there lives, the single parents of these two hit it off and soon find themselves starting off as a happily married couple with a grown son a piece. As soon as they get together, the two start fighting and hating one another. They soon learn how much they have in common with one another. Their love for numb-chucks, girlie magazines, ninjas, COPS, John Stamos, and the comforts of years of no responsibility. This wild run frenzy is never ending. I'll just say that I've never seen anything quite so silly in my life. The Unrated version is absolutely gross, yet fantastically ...
