    Work just fine

    This thing is cheap BUT it actually does 445-450nm blue at a 'safe' power. Works great on glow in the dark stuff and eat battery like crazy but I feel 'safer' letting my daughter handle this one (with lots of supervision) without fear of her cutting through walls or burning herself.. I don't think this is a class 3a (probably stronger then that) but still not hot on skin.

    Compact and Working

    The laser arrived working and the color I was hoping for. Only thing that could have been better would be the company including an indicator somehow of the way the batteries should be oriented in the barrel and maybe a nice case besides the temporary cardboard enclosure with foam. But the laser itself was all I was expecting, and that worked.

    ACTUALLY a blue laser

    A beautiful blue shade of this laser pointer. Safe enough to point around without damaging anyone eyes. (Though, you shouldnt try) takes standard AAA batteries. Good quality, nothing rattles, good material. Lightweight, about as big as a permanent marker.

    Excellent price for a true "blue" 445-450nm laser! Watch for others advertising "purple" 405nm lasers as "blue". Will be back to laserlands for our next quality laser!
