About this product

Product Information

The first two content packs for Fallout 3 are bundled together in this retail release, which also includes a Fallout-themed poster. Fallout 3's first add-on, Operation: Anchorage, sends you into a military computer simulation to defend Alaska from a Chinese invasion. Engage soldiers across the tundra while acquiring new weapons, armor, and items. A strike team will be available to assist you in your final assault on the Communist regime's base. The second add-on, The Pitt, has you exploring a post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh, PA, while interacting with new characters, mastering new weapons, and embarking on new quests. Both content packs require ownership of Fallout 3.

  • Fallout 3 add-ons

The Pitt and Operation Anchorage extend the Fallout 3 world with 2 interesting and different scenarios. I really enjoyed The Pitt as you go into Pittsburgh to either free the slaves or dominate the city by joining the slave owners. Some really good role playing follows. Operation Anchorage sets you up in a simulator reproducing Fallout history of Americans taking back Alaska from the Chinese. You take out the Chinese. Very linear but another unique perspective. I would have given the pair of DLCs an Excellent rating except they were too short. I'm glad I got the pack for $5--$20 would have been to much. I guess I could go back into The Pitt and try the option to join the slavers.... As it is, I just bought the other 2-pack of DLCs...

  • Note for a casual gamer and computer user, stick to Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

I have been a fan of the Fallout games since I played the first one many years ago. When I heard that Fallout 3 was coming out, I was excited and ran out and snached the first copy that was brought out of the box at my local Wal-Mart on October 28, 2008 at 12:00 Midnight. Since then, I have played all of the Fallout games, and own quite a collection of Fallout merchendise. HOWEVER, I have yet to play any of the add ons because little to my knowledge, one must seemingly have to have a degree in computer programing in order to upload these things to any working order onto thier hard drive. I own not only this one, but also Broken Steel, and Point lookout add on disk, as well as the Fallout 3 Game of the year edition with these add on packs included. Same story, I can NOT play them because of ...

  • Fallout 3 DLC's" Point Lookout, Broken Steel, Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt

They are great add-on's to enhance the already great main story of the Fallout 3 game, to play during the main quest or after.

  • Fallout 3 -- Game Add-On Pack: The Pitt and Operation:

As far as I'm concerned this is a great add-on. Too bad Bethesda works is going to stop making add-ons for this game. Too many people are fascinated by this game and how it works.
