Good tool not all test modes work I've got several prompts about updating I have a 2012 Chevy Impala I purposely bought it to recalibrate brake pedal position sensor it took care of that it did that fine a lot of the other functions and tests would not work I have got a lot of prompts about updating it does explain codes in detail it does have multifunctions they just don't all work hopefully after updating or it would say module not supported I don't even know what that Means. Study.

Code reader works great and reosonably priced.
I finally used the code reader on my Chevy truck when the check engine light came. It showed a PO300 code which is an engine misfire. I'm pretty sure the problem is some really bad spark plug wires as one was broken and not connected and the others look in bad shape. I've ordered a new set. The code reader works great and gives an explanation of the code.

Gets the job done
Comes with good instructions, and that with what is on the internet, you can get the job done with this. Pretty much plug and play. Has computer reset function. Live read functions. For no more than I use this kind of tool, which is more than I really care to, it does me nicely. Make a good addition to your tool box and a reasonable price too.
