My experience so far with this product is a good one.
I bought this camcorder for recording my children, now 7 & 12. They grow so fast I thought it would be nice for catching those special memories from home as well as any functions for school. The thing I like the most about this product is the fact that it pretty much fits in the palm of my hand and isn't bulky like the old camcorders. I'm torn for liking the fact that it puts it directly onto a dvd - I like that the olny problem i'm having is finding the dvd's that will actually play in my home dvd player. The disc fits directly into the dvd player (there is a spot for the smaller disc, like in your computer) but it won't play them. The only other thing I dislike about the dvd is you can't find them having a longer period of time than 30 min, even if you get the 60 min dvd's they're ... Definitely More Bang For The Buck
Love the way it fits in the palm of your hand. Navigating through the touch screen programs are virtually self explanatory. What I did not quite like is the special made cable (seems like the cable is only meant for this sony unit) and if you lose your software the only place to find it is the Sony website (for a cost of course). Otherwise this unit is, in my opinion, an excellent investment.

I don't like reading instuctions. This camera is so easy to use. You pop in a mini dvd, record and recording is ready for viewing on dvd player.
