I love the gaithers music but this cd had none that I wanted to hear. I wish when the CDs are listed they would also list the songs I'm sure I would buy additional CDs if I knew exactly what songs were on the album

Give It Away--The Gaither Vocal Band
This is the first issue with the current personnel of GVB(2006). This has been a development position for a number of great gospel singers who have spent their time with Gaither, then sprung out on their own as soloists. It is the 18th album for the group (groups)which shows some slight variations with each group, yet remains quite similar to all the other combinations. They pick up some old songs (The Imperials' 'Eagle Song' and 'Bread Upon the Water')which are nice tributes to a top group with songs that should not be forgotten. As usual, Gaither combines some smooth harmonies with strong upbeat songs to make this a collection of 'something for everybody'.This is the first issue with the current personnel of GVB(2006). Awesome CD!
The Gaither Vocal Band is my absolute favorite Southern Gospel group, and this could be one of their best CD's. Marshall Hall's soulful rendition of Jesus Loves Me is by far the best I've ever heard, and the Vocal Band's arrangement of Thomas Dorsey's I'll Tell It Wherever I Go is downright amazing. The harmonies in general are so much fun to listen to. I highly recommend this CD!

Give It Away Gets An "A"
The Gaither Vocal Band always seems to have a knack for recording good material. Their style of Southern Gospel ranges from classic quartet to progressive. This project has another good collection of familiar songs and new ones. When an eBayer offered the chance to make a bid I couldn't pass up the opportunity and wound up getting a good deal. My son loves it and thanks you!
