Arrived promptly and out of the package it was as described -- dings, scratches etc etc. A busted bulb as could be seen through the lens that was NOT mentioned in the description however.. Without disassembly, could not easily determine if there was any other damage but, put in for a return. Immediately got a prepaid return label and put it in the mail the next day (yesterday) for a full refund. It is still in transit but, I don't expect any issues. Nice transaction anyhow other than that..

    A great replacement camera-duplicates the original

    I bought this camera to replace the same model that had started to mis-perform (didn't close all the time) and a small piece that held in the battery had broken off. Repair was impossible. But I wasn't up for learning any new technology. This was a new camera when I got it. I have taken photos with it and transferred them to my desk top. All is well.

    Back yard barbecue in daytime? Greats pics of your BFFs.

    I bought a used one a few years old. It is small, about the size of smart phone. Thin. Takes a great picture under good conditions, less good in poor light etc. It depletes the battery quickly but you can get a battery for this legacy camera for a couple of bucks. Short on features. Simple to use. If you are at a back yard barbecue in daytime you will be able to great quite good photos of your BFFs yadda yadda.

    excellent little camera

    i have an older model that died. i came across this on ebay without a battery charger. it uses the same battery as mine and i have that charger. it was a perfect fit. this is a great camera. very small and works very well. i also have a digital slr (canon) and, of course an iphone. there are times when you want a simple, small digital camera and this one is excellent for that.

    Screen not working properly

    Pleased with Olympus FE-280 8.0 megapixel Cmera

    This was an excellent bargain. Not only does it take superb photographs, it looks and feels like fine jewelry. The seller included a case that is exquisite and worth what I paid for the whole outfit. The seller says he only used it for Christmas morning photos while his DSLR was in the shop and it must have been a very clean environment that morning. I am very grateful to the seller for offering it and would like to know the maker of the case since it is the finest piece of leatherwork I've encountered in 67 years.
