    A True Classic

    Overkill has a few stinkers in their discography but this isn't one of them. The Years of Decay is a legit classic that pushed thrash metal forward even while influences of the Blue Cheer and Black Sabbath era can still be heard. This might be my favorite Overkill album.

    Awesome CD. This is old school "metallica type" music

    This is a really good "old school metal" band. This is what I grew up with along with metallica, iron maiden, anthrax, slayer, ozzy, etc. If you are a old school metal head, you really do need to listen to this!!! I just found this on e-bay recently and have not heard it for at least 15 years. Once I got it, It brought back memories I thought were gone forever!! They had just as much talent as metallica, but just didn't take off the same as them. I wish they did take off the same, they might have some awesome stuff now!! The vocals,...some people like,..and others do not. It is more screaming, and evil than the others. There is a couple songs that the vocals are very, very, awesome (clean nice voice, actual singing, not screaming)! You just have to listen and be your own judge. Please ...

    the years of decay

    for many years i been looking this album. over kill is one of my favorite bands .i buy this product because is difficult in my country this cds is not massive consume and the band sales is not like metallica sales cds. i like very much the sound of the record i like the work of the producer terry date.for me is great buyt this cd and find ebay on the net is awesome because i can get it things olds and news

    I have this on vinyl...

    I have this on vinyl from way back in the day and have always thought of this as one of the best classic thrash albums. Thanks to our local metal show playing the track "Elimination" recently I was reminded of just how much I have been neglecting my eardrums by not owning this on CD. Thus, the purchase was made, the ears have bled, the dog has howled and the neighbors have called the cops. A must for all metalheads!

    Finally Got It!!!!

    Overkill is one of the best old-school thrash metal bands ever!! The whole "The Years of Decay" CD is awsome! I always wanted it but could never find an original copy until I looked here on ebay. Got very lucky. Mine was like brand new, NO scratches/stains/blemishes of any kind and plays just like 1989!! Glad I finally found one!!!!
