Cable modem Technology is not evolving, thus used routers are as good as new ones (provided no defects). At 24x8 channel bundling I am far from reaching limits, as I would have to get to Gigabit speeds before this Linksys maxes out. It does what you expect from a cable modem. Just keep in mind, it has no WIFI router capabilities. If you want choices for your WIFI tech, and in the age of mesh routers and WIFI 6 (e on the horizon) you might, or have a wired network, this can be the right answer for you as well.

The product is fine but I was forced to upgrade because of xfinity. My old cisco cable modem had 20 times the capacity needed for my service this one is 80 times! Xfininity told me the cisco modem was no longer supported on their system since it was so old. But here again perfectly alright for my needs. This modem is good too but I was forced to get it.

It's so easy to use. You plug it in, you turn it on, and it connects you to a cable network. Seriously, it's THAT simple. If you can plug in a power cable, a coax cable and an ethernet cable, then you can use this modem.

Great product. A little hard to set up though. Had to contact cable company to do so. So not a fast process. But has worked flawlessly since setup. I would but again.

Have 155mpbs down. Works as advertised. Took some troubleshooting on RCNs end. They provisioned it for the wrong speed so it was throttling my connection to 7mpbs. Called a different agent, worked great.
