Nice quality for the price. Maybe not as good as full sized coax, but also 1/4 the price.

These have pretty good quality components as far as connectors, strain reliefs, cable, and the workmanship is fairly good, but the solder is a bit sloppy, and excessive. I ran a signal between a 100 watt transceiver and a Bird 4391M meter, and got 98 watts on 40 meters, 100 on 20, 101 on 10 meters, 101 on 6 meters, a VSWR of 1:1-1.3:1. Losses on the antenna cable were 20dBm. Losses on a jumper to a dummy load were 6dBm, so not too bad. There is no telling where these losses occur for sure. The cables fit tightly, and securely. I had to implement some pliers to get a pair N adapters off them. The connectors feel like very lightweight aluminum, rather than brass, plated copper, or electrolytic copper and I would never expect 99.997% sterling silver at this price point.

  • Top critical review

    Poor Cable

PL-259 connectors are junk with barrel screw falling off and center conductor and insulator turning and loose. Do Not Waste your money.

  • Excellent quality cables and connectors.

Excellent quality cables and connectors. Wasn't sure if a six pack was too many, but like beer you can never have enough on hand! :)

  • You can't have too many

Don't wait until you run out and need that last coax jumper. That is to late to finish that project. In my case I completed the Mobil HF install just to find out I couldn't connect the all important antenna. Well that did it for me. Get more then you think you will need. Save all that frustration and be ready the next time. And you know there will be a next time. These were a great value and of excellent quality. I highly recommend them for all your interconnect needs. km4kya_jay

  • Rg8x jumpers

They work well. RG8x cables have stranded conductors and bend easily to equipment connectors. You may have to scrape off excess solder at the connector end, but the overall quality is good.
