    Great Car Seat, But Kinda Skinny

    We love Britax and this is our 4th Britax car seat, but this new model seems a lot skinnier in the shoulders than the 2012 model we had. This is supposed to have more side impact protection, but apparently they just took it out of the sitting area instead of making the car seat wider. Our newborn is only 1 month now, so it is just a guess, but I'm skeptical of how this would fit the shoulders of a 25-30 lb baby. The colored headrest section is not adjustable and is not removable compared to the inserts for newborns on older models.

    Great seat

    While the Elite version does have a few nicer features on it, this is the seat that the baby's grandmother uses and we're happy with it. The base is easy to install and has the best LATCH clips I've seen on any seat. We use it in conjunction with the stroller (has clips for the seat to attach) and that's an added bonus. Overall a great product.

    Great car seat but very narrow.

    I got a great deal on this car seat! It is easy to install, but found the seat to be very narrow. I would never pay full price for this carseat but overall it's good. An infant would be in this seat for less than six months. Advice...spend your money on a forever carseat to get more value out of it.
